The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement with the people being extremely friendly and the work challenging.
I feel well integrated into my team and a valued member.
My manager was great giving me all the help I needed. I also had excellent support from all other people from the business and not just my team.
My work load was good being given tasks which where challenging and kept me busy.
I was given important work to do throughout the year which made me feel very valued.
I think my placement within Cummins was one of the best things I could have done and will set me right in the future.
The Company
I enjoyed working within my department with everyone getting along. I enjoyed coming into work and being within my department and team.
I think the placement was very good in the way it was set up. However think it needed a few minor improvements.
From skills training to job specific training the company provided everything form my needs and more. I have learnt so much from the training I have been given.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
There are many graduate roles within the company and good future prospects. I look forward to applying next year.
The Culture
The other placements I met were great people and I will make sure to keep in contact in the future. They are definitely friends for life.
The cost of living was good to average and the cost of socialising average with some places being expensive but on the salary we had was fine.
The nightlife was not the best but with the option to travel did not overly effect me.
There were some activities planned each month that I had the opportunity to go on.
