The Role
I was very pleased with the fact that I was thrown straight into a 'proper' job and not treated like a lesser member of the team at any point.
My colleagues treated me as equal and were also very friendly and easy to talk to.
My supervisor was very knowledgable and always had time to impart his knowledge on me.
Working in a very busy team, work wasn't found for me, I had to look for things that needed doing. This meant that a lot of the time my work would dry up.
I was treated as an equal member of my team and shared responsibilities with each of them.
I worked in a challenging role with talented people, both of which will help me in future life.
The Company
We often did out of work activities amongst our department but at work most people were very focussed.
The processes were rusty due to it being the first time they had taken on interns in many years, but they have shown a desire to improve these processes and have discussed with me several times how I think processes could be improved.
We were given £200 a year to spend on out of work training.

The Culture
We arranged to do monthly activities to keep a strong relationship.
Brentwood was very expensive for living and socialising.
There was a nightlife but a limited and expensive one.
There are a plethora of different groups run by people at work.
