The Role
PLEASE NOTE: This review was for a placement at Watson Wyatt prior to Towers Perrin merging with Watson Wyatt to become Towers Watson. (The RateMyPlacement Team) The Environment was SUPER FRIENDLY, I've worked as an Intern at IBM & Investment Banks before but WatsonWyatt's warm friendly atomsphere really makes itself stand out, the environment definitely allows you to develop quicker. However the only downside would be that the work you are given are often not very structured and most of the time pieces of a larger project, it is hard to see the big picture.
Super Friendly
Line manager is often busy, however everyone in the office is very nice, therefore if I had questions or problems I often get the support immediately without having to talk to management
Quite Relaxed
Not very much to be honest
Definitely helped me in my writting/reading abilities, however it did not train my presentation skills as much as I'd have liked to.
The Company
Drinking starts at 12.30 on fridays
Fairly unorganised in terms of the works given, but in terms of accomodation, support it is brilliant.
Some, but not as much as a graduate
Offer rate is 95% for interns at WatsonWyatt.
The Culture
Fairly small office, only 3 interns.
Leeds is super cheap. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]
