The Role
The people were nice and the job was fun, but in general too slow paced.
I got on really well with everyone, and my calculations/opinions were used by the company and the people around me.
Excellent guidance at first, putting me on the right tracks, and then leaving me alone to work on my own initiative but always available and happy to help if I needed it.
Generally had little to do, broken up with spurts of great activity. Spent an entire week reading webcomics due to no-one having any work for me as my line manager was on holiday.
My recommendations were accepted and my models used, but not without having been checked. My "budget" (the money spent based on my recommendations) was of the order of £2million per month.
Brilliant Excel skills gained, same with people skills and presentation skills. I also got great experience working in an office and with people. Lots available to me at all times.
The Company
Great people around me, great fun.
I suspect jobs were handed to me as my line manager thought of them, but what he did come up with was always fun.
Not much money or time, but still enough resources to get some experience in.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
I hope they offer me a job. Worthwhile to work for.
The Culture
We had a great time, kept in constant contact and went out on a regular basis.
Cheapest I've experienced.
Boring. Very boring. Maybe one good club and a few bars.
I endeed up visiting the gym daily, but the opportunities were there.
