The Role
I really enjoyed the placement and had the opportunity to carry out a whole range of different tasks. I worked on several clients so no two weeks were the same!
Everyone was very friendly and made me feel part of the team.
People were always prepared to help and answer any questions I had.
Generally I had plenty to do so I wasn't bored but not so much I was struggling to finish.
I was able to produce work that was used in audits by my team which was great!
I learnt a lot and gained a lot of transferable skills - in particular my excel skills improved a lot and giving presentations helped my confidence and communication skills.
The Company
Even though everyone worked hard, people had fun too and were always prepared to share a joke.
We had a great induction and we were given a layout of what we would be doing throughout the internship so we always knew where we'd be and what we'd be doing.
I received plenty of guidance. I was impressed by the extent that people would go to teach me how to do things and explain what was going on to me even though I was just an intern.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would be very happy to work for them.
The Culture
Yes we would go out for drinks after work.
Pretty average.
Great nightlife in the centre of the city!
Yes, for example we had a day helping the community when we helped clean out a local pond.
