The Role
It was a well organised placement. Everything was set and I just started real work from the first day after induction.
Everyone in my team was very friendly and supporting. I enjoyed tremendous support from mundane requirements to the very technical obligations.
The objective of my work was made clear and was emphasied through out my time at BP. Even more so, the final use of my work and how it fits into the overall team work was clearly communicated to me. This motivated me to put in my best efforts and continualy review and seek guidance and direction, which I was always give.
In was always intense and exciting. Stoping to chat on personal level from time to time.
I was given a great responsibility above my peers. I was indeed privileged.
I have honed in on my petroleum engineering skills. I laso learn a great deal about subsurface facilities, especially how their limits affect overall performance of a field. designing such facilities from the onset of the projet will be very fascinating.
The Company
The atmosphere was very firendly. everyone was respectful of the other person. The atmosphere promotes productivity for me.
Excellent. All requirements were in place for intern to get integrated with minimal issues.
There were alot of in house training and online resources. All one need is to aks for guidance and you get the needed help. For a periodof 10 weeks internship, I choosed not to go for trainings that will usually take 2 weeks long to finish. learning on the job was ideal for me. in this respect i received lot of coaching.

The Culture
The other intern were great fun to be with. It was really great for me to learn how they unwind after work.
Not a challenge for me.
By my personal inclination, the night life where i live is quite great. they are variety of places to be, but I usually prefer visiting friends and chatting with them
They were lots of opportunities. weekend charity works, football...
