The Role
It was a good experience, during which I learnt a lot.
Everyone was really welcoming and friendly throughout the entire placement.
There was always support from my supervisor, whether it was to help me with work I was carrying out, or just giving me tips which would be useful to remember throughout the placement.
I had things to do the majority of the time, although there were times when I had finished up my work earlier than anticipated and so had nothing to move on to (however, everyone was quick to give me work when they could)
I got to have client contact during my placement, but was mainly in the office.
It gave me an insight into businesses and that there are a lot of things which are required for a business to be successful. I also developed my maths skills further. Both of these aspects will help me in my studies and beyond.
The Company
Everyone was really friendly and always made sure I felt welcome.
It was organised, however there were times when I did not have work to do and did not know if I was to be working on a particular job.
Had specified training days and was taught how to use software.
Company Parties/Events
Really enjoyed it.
The Culture
All of us organised to spend time together outside of working hours
Reasonably priced.
Plenty of choices to go to.
Work finished at a good time which allowed you to have time to get involved in activities outside of working hours, and also plenty of things to do in the area.
