The Role
It was really useful and enjoyable. Got an invaluable insight into the firm, and was in regular close contact with a variety of different clients. I was in ERS and Tax, both of which were interesting and challenging.
I received regular feedback, and felt like I was given the opportunity to add value to the firm.
I was given regular guidance throughout, and was invited to ask questions regularly.
Sometimes I found myself asking for work, but I was always promptly given useful tasks.
I was often asked to speak to clients directly and help to write parts of the reports.
Definitely learnt valuable transferable skills, as well as speific tax and audit related skills.
The Company
Very friendly and encouraging. Hardworking.
Everyone was aware of what I was doing and I had a timetable schedule for my full seven weeks.
I spent a day shadowing a partner, hours being 'taught' what to do and how to do it e.t.c
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I have an interview in a week, but 85% of all interns get a job, so fingers crossed!
The Culture
Weekly social events.
I lived at home.
The Leeds office for Deloitte is right in the middle of town - great night life.
Sport, social events e.t.c were all on offer.
