The Role
The Co-operative is a really good place to work and overall I really enjoyed the placement.
You can get given quite a lot of responsibility on the placement which makes you feel valued.
My line was always interested in my development and helped a lot.
On the placement you will be busy but its manageable and help is given if required.
I really enjoyed the level of responsibility I was given as it help me develop on the placement.
The professional attitude and skills developed will be a great help going forward.
The Company
The people I worked with were really welcoming and helped me to settle in.
The organisation has a dedicated placement officer and well as your line manager support.
Even though I was only with the organisation for 12 months there were plenty of training opportunities in a variety of areas to suit your needs.
Flexi Time

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home

Given the opportunity to come back for the graduate scheme.
The Culture
There were a few other undergraduates who were social, there were also graduate socials and other events I was welcome to attend.
The cost was reasonable, I was based in Manchester and found it affordable to live a good lifestyle
The Head Office is based in the city centre of Manchester so there was something for everyone in the area I worked.
Manchester is a big city so there is plenty to do. People form the organisation invited me to various things.
