The Role
The FSA is a really unique company to work for. The insight into the industry and the exposure to being a regulator is unequalled.
Everyone from the Associates to the Directors show respect and appreciation for their colleagues and the interns.
Having a line manager responsible for me throughout my internship, ensured they helped me make the most of the time available.
Not pushed to work more than 9-5.
Given tasks as part of team projects and asked to take the lead on other investigations.
Learnt a lot of technical and soft skills. The FSA focus on your personal development, which will help with future job interviews and careers.
The Company
Working with good people make all the difference, it enables an enjoyable but also effective atmosphere.
HR managed everything very cleanly, in spit of complications owing to the olympics.
The FSA seem more happy than most employers to invest in your training and development. They also give you the time to organise work shadowing and meetings to push your own personal development further.
