The Role
It has been an eye-opening expereince and I have learnt so much about what Audit actually is!
Everyone that you work with is very welcoming and extremely helpful.
You can always ask for help and not feel bad about it. I am always asking questions to understand what I am doing!
Because it is a quiet time in the year for audit there have been a few days where I haven't been rushed off my feet.
You instantly get stuck in, doing tasks that the graduates do.
I now know a lot about accounts and where all the figures come from, which will obviously benefit me if I wish to further a career in Audit or any accounting profession.
The Company
Everyone is up for a laugh, which is always nice.
Really well organised. I got to spend a day in each department as well as 7 weeks in Audit.
Other members of staff are willing to help you out and explain to you anything you want/need to know.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I will have a partner interview at the end of my internship, and will get a job offer based on the outcome.
The Culture
Yes, instantly made friends with the other interns and spent lots of time with them outside of work. Also the office has an amazing social scene, they go out every week! and there are plenty of sports clubs.
I lived in my student house so wasn't too bad.
Nottingham is always a good night out.
There were plenty of social events to get involved with.
