The Role
Really enjoyed it. Learnt so much, and very grateful for the opportunity.
Ultimately you know only a tiny amount compared to them, so not that useful to them. However as the internship goes on and you demonstrate your worth then you will earn respect.
They are very busy people so can't always spend a huge amount of time helping you. You have to take initiative and ask for guidance at the right times. They were helpful when they had time.
It varied a lot. Some days little to do, other days lots. When you're not busy take the time to find yourself something to do.
Not a huge amount as ultimately you know very little in comparison to people who work there.
Really useful skills. Learnt a huge amount. Makes my uni course seem more relevant to the business/real world.
The Company
Always stuff going on. Noisy. Lots of drama, lots of laughs.
Really well, the HR team did a great job. However on the desk itself it's sometimes up to you to find your own work, and you determine in which direction you go.
The whole process is investing in you and giving you the chance to develop, as well as seeing if you're right for the job.
Company Parties/Events
Unsure at the moment, but hiring rate is apparently quite high.
The Culture
Got on really well.
Very pricey.
Good, but pricey.
Not really. But the hours are long. Did play a bit of sport with some work guys.
