  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I have really enjoyed my year. Brilliant experiance I met some gret poeple who I learnt a lot from.

    • Yes I felt very valued by my department.

    • I was given alot of support from my manager and team.We also had two structured training days with an independent training company.

    • Yes I was quite busy. But that not neccesarily a bad thing, it never got boring!

    • I was given the responsiblity of managing two marketing projects,both a strategic marketing project and a marketing communications project.

    • I would encourage anyone to take a placement year as it assit with your development and gives you experince of a real business environment.

    • Yes the general atmosphere was upbeat and postive.

    • Yes it was organised well.

    • The company invested alot of time and resources in my development.The placement scheme also involved a two day course on management and personal development.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes there was a big group of Placements and Graduates and we had alot of social events.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • The costs were fine.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Yes it was good,the town (Stamford) is small lbut there is a varity of bars and pubs.There is also Peterborugh which is near for Nightlife

    • Yes socially there were many activities and charotable events.
