The Role
I learnt new skills and learnt a lot about the IT industry
I always felt welcomed and was often asked for help when there was an area where I knew more. When I was developing this was less so. My knowledge of the project was appreciated but my skill base I felt was sometimes misunderstood. I could have done with some more experience and trainign from fellow team members to improve my skillbase. The testers on the project taught me a lot about the test sides of the project.
There was very little contact from my supervisor most of the input was from my team members and line managers on the project.
I always had something to do. There was rarely any work that was felt I wouldnt be able to handle.
I was often given a high responsibility especially when testing as I had picked up the product quickly and knew how it should work.
This placement was very helpful towards my future studies and it has helped me with some of my decisions about what i wish to do in my future career.
