The Role
Very much! My goal was to learn as much as possible, and I did learn quite a lot! Definitely a better programmer than 3 months ago.
There was no pressure but the working atmosphere is so great that everyone wants to put in some effort.
I was eventually involved in developing a client project, and reviewed some of senior programmers' code.
My goal was to learn as much as possible, and I did learn quite a lot! Definitely a better programmer than 3 months ago. Having all of your code reviewed is an excellent way to learn. Also, there's a library with loads of good books!
The Company
Excellent! People don't tend to say "Hi!" every morning, but that's how I like it.
It felt like they were waiting for me. Everything was set up when I arrived.
There were a few training presentations during the first week, and I was sent a book on C# before the start of my internship. Most of the personal development happened just by doing new things while working on a project.

I did receive an offer for a permanent position but I won't probably stay in UK. Otherwise would probably take the offer.
The Culture
It's London, what do you expect!?
Don't know, I'm not a nightlife person.
Loads, there's a social group for everything.
