The Role
Great introduction to actuarial work. Really useful to see if the career is one for you
Everyone always willing to help. Can ask everybody questions about the work and they are happy to answer
Regular meetings with manager to discuss progress and the work you have been doing throughout the internship
At times really busy... At times quiet. Depending on the number of people in the office
Similar work to recent starting graduate
Gave a great insight into how the theory leaned at uni is applicable to real life situations. Would really benefit those thinking of actuarial career
The Company
Everyone kind and friendly. Colleagues often meet up out of work hours
Real thought had been put uni the development of the program - similar to that of graduate program
Everyone no matter how senior was willing to work with you and answer the questions you ha about the work you were doing
Places often offered to summer interns. Seen as a real route into the organisation
The Culture
All of the other interns were great and friendly. Recent graduates very sociable with each other and the interns
Cheap considering the proximity to London
A bit of a quiet place but London isn't too far away!!
