The Role
The work was ideal as it was challenging and pushed you to learn more but was always solvable.
The atmosphere at NI is great. It doesn't matter who you speak to in what department they will always have time to discuss things.
With two full months of complete training. We were well prepared for work at NI
Some days are busier than others but overall pretty good.
As an Intern we were encouraged to take responsibility for things as often as possible.
During the AE project work, my knowledge of software development and RF engineering improved immensly.
The Company
Pretty Relaxed
Everything was well organised and we were never left with nothing to do.
We were put through most of the CustED courses that NI offers as well as prestation skills training
Subsidised/Company Gym
Jobs with NI alliance partners are available to me
The Culture
living away from work made socialising with others was hard
standard price for the area but not cheap
Newbury does not have much nightlife. Reading is the place to go
If you look for them. I joined a local Rugby team
