The Role
Very well structured with plenty of people to talk to if you need help
It is hard to integrate into an existing team, but in BP everyone welcomes you and are very friendly if you need help.
Again, very well structured and always available for meetings if needed.
It can be busy at times, but it is very enjoyable work and plenty of oppurtunities to chat to other engineers is also good.
You aren't left to do it all yourself but you can pretty much work away on your project once you know what you are doing.
As an all round person, communication for example and confidence have grown immensely through this placement
The Company
I don't think it could have been organised any better, everything is covered. If not just ask a question.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Healthcare from home
The Culture
London can be expensive but you are getting an extra allowance to account for this so it is ok.
You have to travel to find a good place. I suggest that you contact people who work at company to suggest a place to live
