The Role
It was a valuable experience, the environment was fun to work in and I had the chance to work with cool technologies
They were very helpful, took me for drinks and gave me important work to do.
There were plently of people to ask for help, and people were alwaya happy to answer questions.
Some days were very busy, others not at all. Although I could almost always ask to join other people when I was feeling bored.
I was mostly pair-programming, but I also had an individual project which was somewhat important for the development of the product.
Definitely improved my Python skills, also got the chance to work with very cool Version Control, IDE-s and testing tools, which might not be that critical in university project but are invaluable at work.
The Company
It was a lot of fun, talkative people, coffee breaks etc. Quite good for a bank.
I didn't have any problems, there were plenty of event to introduce us to the environment.
2-day training, many seminars with varios people, my teammates spend a lot of time training me.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I got an offer from them so pretty good.
The Culture
Yes we had open bar socials, and we went out for a drinks quite often,
Quite expensive, it's London.
Great, a lot of places to go out.
Gym, charitable events, we had a whole day volunteering at a park.
