The Role
It was great cause I had a lot of free space and credit from my manager.
The team was great and very approachable. Atmosphere was very good, every Friday we were having a team meeting where we discussed the progress in our projects.
My manager was very supportive and devoted me a lot of precious time. I learned a lot.
I had no pressure or control, but I tried to do my best and my project was systematically going forward. I could easily work at my own pace.
The project was probably a real project. It purpose was to automate some calculations. It was important that it was clean and mistake free, because it had to serve to calculate some financial reserves.
I gained great communication and time management skills. I also learned to work with a positive attitude and enthusiasm. I learned to pay attention to important details and design issues of a (IT) project.
The Company
It wa vey good, everyone was approachable and helpful.
Lots of events, presentations, trainings on a very professional level. The whole infrastructure was good as well. A HR lady was taikng care of us and the team members were also guiding us very well.
As mentioned earlier, a lot of Great events, presentations and trainings. The company offers great development opportunities.

Company Parties/Events
I am just not sure if I would not like to try my hand at some software company in U.S. instead.
The Culture
There were many events and parties, sport constest where we were able to get to know other interns from all divisions but also other bank employees.
It was London so it was not extremely cheap, but it was not very expensive as well to me.
You could go to a concert, theatre, some exhibition, some party - there was a lot of possibilities. I found it fantastic.
There are people regularly playing football, basketball and many other sprts who you can easily join, but also there are activities organised by the onsite gym staff, for example beach volleyball competition this week.
