The Role
Throughout my time at BDO, I thoroughly enjoyed both the work and social side that was on offer.
Every person made a big effort to make sure that there was plenty of work for you to complete and that you were enjoying the experience. After a few days you felt like you had been there for a year!
If I had any problems all I had to do was ask questions. My buddy was brilliant and the counselling manager made sure that I was making the most of the experience.
If you had any problems with lack of work, all you had to do was ask for more and it would be provided extremely quickly.
Compared to previous work experiences, this gave me the most responsibility.
Definitely, useful life and office skills picked up during the experience.
The Company
Unbelievable banter! Everyone in the office is extremley nice and friendly.
From start to finish, the process has been brilliantly organised.
A lot of time and effort is invested in you during the internship.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
It would be brilliant to work for the firm.
The Culture
Yes, got to play a variety of sports and the interns all got along nicely.
Pretty cheap but there are cheaper places than Manchester.
Again, Manchester is pretty good for nights out but their are better!
Loads, you can do as much as you want. Usually sporting events at least once a week.
