The Role
I wanted to carry on and not go back to Uni!
Everyone cared about you and what you wanted to achieve from the Summer. It was a very friendly atmosphere with very approachable people.
We were given general training, and then we were given more specific training ad hoc by our managers.
I had a lot of projects on the go, but at times I had to ask for more work.
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility, but I learned more about what the rest of the team were doing, so in future I would be able to assist more.
I developed my team, analytical and research skills, which are all skills for life, both in finishing my degree and for my future career.
The Company
Hard working, but fun.
It was very well organised, but I didn't know how the selection process worked, so I would have liked to have understood this better.
A lot of time and money.
They are hiring, but it is very competitive. We will see!
The Culture
Regular drinks both organised by HR and ad hoc with other interns, in Citi and with other banks.
Expensive.
It's London!
There were loads of opportunities organised by HR, and other interns, giving us a chance to get more involved and network.
