The Role
It was a great experience. The people were really welcoming and supporting if I approached them, otherwise I coudl have been non-existant.
It all depends on the individual so I've rated it as an average. Some were really appreciative of the value, some didn't mention as single praise or simple 'thank you'.
Not much - it was all up to me to even initiate a conversation. They said they were always avaialble for questions or support, but were never around or seemed to make themselves less available and had an air of seniority about them, so had to turn to less junior members to seek advice.
Could have had more work to do, but surprisingly found my days to be booked up with meetings as I felt pressured to arrange meetings to meet everyone in the department or to shadow every one that I could. It's all great, but ultimtely my performance will be based on the work I produce, and if all my time is taken up on meeting hundreds of people who won't even remember me, how am I expected to be productive?
Not enough. The worst part it was unclear how responsibility I should have/take according to project.
I definitely feel now that when I return to university for my final year I will be better to analyse data and structure it. I've learned a lot of business acquemen and feel like I should remain in the working force world rather than go back to lectures.
The Company
Nice and chatty - able to approach anyone to ask anything.
Very orgaized - from the assesment centre to the delivery of the contract to the first day, everything has been well organized and smooth flowing.
Good focus on developing the interns. We had the option to opt into any training that was offered virtually and managers kept asking about area we would be most interested in learning about.

We'll see. There's some open roles across the region but am hesitant about taking on a grad programme for 3 years in a foreign country that is clearly becoming central because of cheaper labour.
The Culture
Good social scene between the interns - HR planned a lot of inclusive events and provided a lot of opportunities to network with seniors.
London isn't cheap, but since I already lived there prior to the internship I was used to it. Really appreciated the relocation bonus that they gave to all the interns, even if they hadn't relocated.
London nightlife - not much more to say. It's fab.
Quite a few - attended a toasmaster's session of some of their Diversity Newtorks' events such as meeting the EMEA CEO or a welcome event for the female interns from the Women's network.
