The Role
Great experienced, glad I did the internship
Wasn't expected, we are interns, you start at the bottom
Lots of help was given with tasks, and if you got stuck on anything everyone would be there to help
Ranged, some days your twiddling your thumbs waiting for email responses, some days your working late for 2 hours
Increased towards the end
Despite doing a finance degree, nothing was directly linked bar knowing about different asset classes
The Company
Quiet, but relaxed
Given an intern project, then several ad hoc tasks by different team members I was already added to several clients list before my first real day in the office
Paid masters are avaliable at Imperial for actuarial students
Subsidised Canteen
Find out later on next week!
The Culture
Several trips to the pub after work, but none to clubs, depends what you are looking for.
London, simple as.
