The Role
I think it was an enjoyable experience as I feel I learnt a lot and would like to come back.
The team was very good and made you feel at home. Very supportive of any questions you would have.
Managers explained the tasks well and checked in with us constantly to ensure that we were finding it ok and provided further support if needed.
Depends on the week, but I almost always felt I had the right amoutn of work to do
It depends on the week, under certain teams I felt like a regular graduate, as I had alot of important work to do, sometimes I was just doing repititive tasks.
I think the skills gained would be primarily useful, when I come back to do a job for Deloitte. There were however accounting/audit informartion which could be used for my course enxt year.
The Company
The atmosphere was generally very friendly and supportive, not much more you can ask for really.
This was perfect in my view as I got to audit companies I wanted to work with and they made it really good for us by giving us placements as convenient as possible.
A lot would be the answer in one word! We were given a 4 day induction in a posh hotel, which kept us completely engaged and was useful in getting to know the others in our team. The socials were very well organized and fun as well!
Company Parties/Events
Yep definitely I am keen on getting a job with Deloitte, the experience was really good.
The Culture
Yes there was, we all had a great rapport which got built up in the induction week which we did. We got to know each other quite well!
I didn't live or socialise in the are of the office, so not too sure.
My office was in Crawley, so I didn't really try the nightlife here as it was a long way away from home.
I always had my evenings reasonably free to meet friends and have dinner etc.
