The Role
Really enjoyed it overall
I felt really valued by my colleagues as they would always thank me for the work I was doing for them.
My manager and buddy were always there to support me. They would answer any questions I had and would help me sort out any problems.
There were occasional days when work was a little short but in general this wasn't a problem.
Given the same responsibility as a new graduate would.
I feel I have developed lots of skills that will help me in the future. Especially improved my ability to work well within a team from the group project set.
The Company
Everyone was really friendly and made an effort to talk to you.
The intern scheme was set up very well, although occasionally me and other interns were unsure of a couple of things.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
A good place to work with plenty of opportunities.
The Culture
There were 4 other interns in my office during my placement and we all got on really well. It was nice to have people to talk to who were going through the same experience as me. I really enjoyed getting to know and spending time with other interns not just in my office.
Not too expensive
The nightlife isn't brilliant in Farnborough where I worked. A couple of pubs nearby but that is it.
There were plenty of social events organised to get involved in.
