The Role
Really challenging internship with a lot of responsability. Never felt like an intern, but was seen as a real team member.
My colleagues made me feel welcome from the first second and until the end they were always really helpful.
I could always ask questions and tell my manager honestly what I don't like. Criticisme was not seen as negative, but as very constructive.
I never felt bored. I had such a huge project to do which took all my time.
I run the project with my manager and we discussed in advance which responsabilities I will get and which ones stay in her hand.
I learned a lot in terms of relationship management and dealing with foreign people.
The Company
We always had a good laugh between stressful moments.
The placement was really well organised. The paperwork in the beginning went smoothly and I felt really well welcomed in the beginning.
I had no training, but went to a lot of team boosters and meetings where I got to learn my colleagues from every EADS country.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
I got a job at the end of my internship.
The Culture
Good atmosphere between current interns in the department, but also with the colleagues.
Flats are quite expensive if you want to live near the city centre.
A lot to do! Bristol is a real student city where you have a lot to do during the night and on the weekends.
Opportunities organised by the interns themselves, but not by work. A gathering at the beginning of the internship would be good to get to know people from other departments.
