The Role
I enjoyed my placement, I learnt a lot of new things and made some good friends.
I felt welcomed by people in the company. Everyone I spoke to has been nice to me and no one has been unfriendly.
Whenever I got chance to speak to my supervisor he was extremely helpful. Although he was very busy so often I didnt get much chance to speak to him. This was not his fault though but meant at times I felt a little bit on my own.
Overall the balance has been good. Occasionaly I have been too busy and sometimes not busy enough but overall the balance has been fine.
My project was completed independantly so I was given full responsibility for what work I did and when and where I did it.
I have learnt lots of new things that will help me in the workplace. I have also developed a lot of research skills I will use in my degree.
The Company
Good atmosphere and social events organised.
Little bit slow in the beginning at getting information about what I would be doing but well organised apart from that.
I attended a lot of training courses that have equipped me with valuable skills.
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Healthcare from home
I would be interested in a job here, not heard back yet but hoping to get an offer.
The Culture
A number of social events were organised which were good fun.
As this was in London living and socialising was very expensive.
London nightlife is very good.
There were a number of activities organised including film nights, nights out, even a clay pigeon shooting session.
