The Role
I have given this rating not because I loved the work (although the work was quite good as far as internships go), but because the people were amazing for example I was on an out of town project which is scary at first but everyone is really welcoming and we went out for sociable meals/drinks every night!
From some people you hear alot of "get the interns to do it" if it's tedious work, but if you are pro-active and find good work/get lucky like I did then they really appreciate the work you do and it's quite useful
Can't fault it, answered all my stupid questions and gave me great advice for next steps
Pretty good, a bit bored sometimes but I was on a Government Project at a quiet time so that's not representative of Accenture. Most interns were pretty busy and did one or two late nights a week.
For my little bit I was pretty much running the show actually! I was creating an excel sheet to track our progress etc. it was really complicated but meant I had my own bit of work, could be creative and people came to ME for advice/with questions.
Not really in my degree, but learning about working in a business, meetings, Agile (the new business buzzword) excel and powerpoint skills (boring but useful) etc was very useful
The Company
I got lucky we had a analyst (1st-2nd year graduates) heavy team so everyone was youing and up for a laugh, not all of the projects are quite so relaxed and fun
ALot of people didn't have work to do, half the team were told they'd be in London when they were actually in Manchester and we didn't know where we were placed until the Friday before we started
Taught us alot that related to our project about Agile, High Level Design etc. yet to see how useful this will be later on, but I think very.

I am yet to find out, however you get reviews near the end and unless you mess up you'd be silly not to take a graduate offer, the company is great.
The Culture
Lots of social and events! Great fun! went out most wednesdays and fridays plus some people made weekend plans too.
I was on expenses so I have left as 5* as I didn't have to pay, but Manchester is pretty cheap!
Manchester .... :-)
Yes but only if you took the inititaive
