The Role
NI is a great company to work for and I couldn't of asked for a better placement.
NI is a great team/family and everybody gets on well.
Lots of internal training, team leader provides close support and guidance and you can always ask anybody for support or guidance.
Most of the time the level of work is just right but sometimes can be too busy. The projects take up a lot of personal time.
Lots of responsibility. travelled around the country and worked alongside graduate engineers doing the same role
My personal development has drastically improved and a good LabVIEW programmer.
The Company
There is lots of banter but the work still gets done. Nobody is ever looking over your shoulder which is great.
Very well structured and clear cut plan for the year. No time wasted and lots learnt.
They have given my so many opportunities and I have learned a vast amount about the hardware and software that NI provide.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I would like to think they would take me back but I'm not sure yet.
The Culture
Made some good friends and there was never a dull moment because so many new people started each year and they are all in the same boat.
Salary is 16K which is JUST enough to live a comfortable life and social life.
Newbury is small but you can still have fun.
always something going on.
