The Role
Very long hours, but I think few other jobs can give you this satisfaction
Surprisingly valued also by very senior professionals
Staffer always keen to discuss any issue / concern. All senior project leaders very supportive
Ranging from fairly busy on some days to extremely busy some others
A lot! Dealt directly with seniot management / clients and assigned tasks that usually are done by 2nd year analysts.
General skills like time management and organization develop really quickly.
The Company
I think the right balance between focus on work and interaction between people
very well structured, from training to induction in the team to external activities
They invested a lot, considering that it is only a 10 weeks internship
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Although a though time for everybody in the industry, they planned in advance taking only a limited number of interns, so that they can make the full time offer to evryone that deserves it
The Culture
very good, interactions with both fellow interns and full time analysts also from other divisions
Quite high, but definitely affordable with the salary received
Canary Wharf is not the most exciting place to be at night
There were, however long working hours severely limited my chances to attend to many of them
