The Role
I felt completely at ease and interested by almost all of the tasks.
As this was an insight there was a distinct lack of direct communication with people within the business, however I felt accepted and appreciated by my peers
It was a very well managed program.
At all times we were kept busy doing a wide range of tasks from work shadowing to investment games.
There were a lot of presentations, however one must remember this was a spring insight week and is to be expected.
I believe that I gained a firm understanding of financial markets in the week and it made me confident that this was the career for me.
The Company
Although this wasn't an "office" as such it was an atmosphere that everyone was enjoying and benefitting from the experience.
There is no doubt that the flow and precision involved was greatly appreciated by all involved, I felt like it was very clockwork and almost perfect at all times.
It was evident that a lot of time and effort had gone into the planning.
Subsidised/Company Gym
I desperately want employment with the firm following my internship.
The Culture
We all got on very well as a group of like-minded individuals.
Having lived in a very different environment the prices were somewhat astonishing.
N/A
If you wanted to do extra the firm strived to make that possible.
