The Role
Really learnt a lot throughout the 10 weeks.
Felt as though I was given real responsibilties.
Had weekly meetings with the team to catch up on what we were all doing that week, had 1 to 1 mentoring sessions each week with my line manager and could always ask for advice.
It varied each day, but the charity challenge and asking my team for odd jobs always made sure I was occupied.
I was able to create journals that were put into the system.
I had no knowledge of finance going in and now I have a far better understanding. Lots of soft skills were developed also.
The Company
My team were really friendly and the overall office atmosphere was good. Went to lunch together most days which was very nice.
I was given a timeline by my team so I knew when my deadlines were.
Was given training by my team and also went on an Insights day to understand more about my personalitly.
Company Parties/Events
If you get recommended by your line manager you go throught to an interview - I'm waiting to hear back.
The Culture
We got to live together in halls so there was always something going on with the other interns. Went to a pub quiz with my collegues.
Our accomadation was paid for which was amazing. Going out in London/ Windsor was very expensive but it wasn't too bad we're we lived.
Able to go into Uxbridge and also had really good links to London
Able to get involved in the chairty challenge work and socials with the team/other interns.
