The Role
Amazing program for interns. A lot of opportunities to learn about your department, the firm and the industry.
It took a week to find my feet but after the initial week I was doing the same tasks as everyone else.
The managers were laid back and let you get on with you work.
Work ranged from being really busy on one day to sometimes not having as much to do.
After my initial week I was doing the same work as everyone else.
Great additional training is provided. Plenty of business speaker series events and it's very easy to gain appointments with senior MD's in other departments to ask them questions.
The Company
There was a decent balance. Sometimes everyone is quite laid back and at other times they'll be working and wouldn't want to be disturbed.
Very well set up. Plenty of opportunities to work with other inters via the projects that are set up for the interns to complete.
Bought in plenty of external companies to teach us about the markets.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
A very laid back culture and very good hours.
The Culture
Plenty of bars to go to with fellow interns.
London is quite expensive.
Amazing.
Providing that you organise activities with other interns, yes.
