The Role
The placement is extremely enjoyable, employees are all extremely welcoming and happy to help. There are opportunities to move across divisions to gain insight into how other operations function.
I received feedback from management throughout the placement.
There is an online training scheme set up so skills you learn is dependant upon your desire to learn. Courses covered all core Investment Banking areas and really helped give an overview of how a Bank works which is difficult to gain through the internet.
The Company
Everyone is alot of fun days passed very quickly.
The HR team are superb and set up numerous events throught the placement to help Interns meet one another.
The firm invested a large amount of time into our training, whether through events set up by HR to Senior Employees giving up their time to deliver speeches about their experiences and day to day tasks.
Subsidised Canteen
I have not yet received an offer but if I receive one I will accept.
The Culture
Through events set up by HR we were able to meet like minded interns, playing in 5-a side football out of work and socialising at weekends.
It's the city it isn't cheap but the salary you get over comes this.
There is too much going on in London to take in
I played sport externally from work .
