The Role
On the whole, very enjoyable.
All colleagues were very helpful and friendly, however only being an intern meant approval was needed for a lot of things, as to be expected.
When avaialable my supervisor was very helpful although he was very busy and sometimes hard to get time to speak with.
Workload varied a lot, some days I would be busy all day and others I would struggle to find things to do.
Left to get on with my own work, support was avaialble when required.
Didn't recieve much training in my area but the insight into how such a business works is invaluable.
The Company
Relaxed yet proffesional.
Some intial settle in issues with finding a desk and IT access but fine thereafter.
Training and networking events fully paid for.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Would happily work for the company and a lot of the recruits are found through internships.
The Culture
Networking events for interns.
Glasgow has a lot to offer for all lifestyles. I really liked the city and thought everything was reasonably priced.
Glasgow has an abundance of good restraunts, bars and clubs.
Drinks with works, sports and gym. Most activities had to be arranged by interns but this is what I would expect.
