  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Fantastic insight into a legal career and the diversity of a truly global law firm.

    • Felt that my contributions were appreciated and was awarded progressively more interesting tasks to complete.

    • No question was too silly to ask and every instruction was explained to me in detail.

    • Varied from day to day, was more of a learning experience.

    • I conducted independent legal research and towards the end, was allowed to attempt tasks typically performed by trainees.

    • Team work and efficiency are skills I built on and intend to continue to do so hereafter.

    • We were well looked after by the graduate recruitment team and our supervisors

    • Undertook various tasks and sessions such as the arbitration exercise, client pitch and departmental presentations to build technical skills and knowhow.

    • I got on well with my fellow vacation scheme students and colleagues in my department.

    • London is pretty expensive.

    • Though expensive, the nightlife was enjoyable.
