The Role
I have very much enjoyed the placement - the people are lovely and the job has been interesting.
My colleagues seem to have valued the work I have taken on and as a result have included me in more prjects.
I have received great support from the whole team
During the first few weeks, I found that I had quite a lot of free time. However, this has picked up significantly now I am in the later stages of the internship
Again, now I am in the later stages of my internship, I now have taken on significant responsibilities.
In particular, it has helped my project management and team work skills.
The Company
Fairly quiet and studious but also relaxed.
A lot of thought went in to ensure it provided me with an accurate representation of a grad role.
Received many inductions and was involved in key meetings to develop business acumen. Was also provided with extensive careers advise.
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Offerred me another role within the organisation
The Culture
Great network amongst the interns and graduates.
Lived in London while working in Slough so travel was particularly expensive.
Didn't go out in Slough.
There are infrequent opportunities
