The Role
The work placement was very enjoyable and I was given real responsibility from day 1.
I felt valued throughout my placement year by my colleagues.
I was given support whenever I required it, all I had to do was ask.
Due to the nature of the business, there is a busy period in which I was required to work overtime, however other than that I felt it was the perfect balance.
I was given real responsibility throughout my year.
The skills I have gained in my placement year will be of great value for my final year at University.
The Company
Often we would go out for lunch on a Friday and have social events and dress down days once a month.
Work placement was very well organised.
I was given on the job training throughout the year and received group training twice during my year.
Company Parties/Events
The placement year is treated as a year long interview!
The Culture
Lots of social activities took place.
I lived at home!
Derby is a good night out.
A number of activities took place outside of work.
