The Role
I enjoyed my internship. Worked with a great team.
Felt like my work was appreciated and added value.
Daily support and guidance from my manager. Worked together on a number of projects.
Generally very busy, only a few quite days. Nearly always had something valuable to be doing.
Was given responsibility for a number of daily/weekly tasks and also worked on new projects.
I am confident that the skills I have learnt will help me both in my final year at university and beyond.
The Company
Good atmosphere. People generally very approachable and friendly.
Well run. A number of events and training programs, all organised well.
A number of training events. Two day introduction session at the start, and a trading game that ran throughout the programme.
Company Parties/Events
The bank is in a very stable position. One of the few firms still taking a number of graduates.
The Culture
Good social scene, after work drinks and lunches etc.
Expensive, but as you would expect in London. Sort your accomodation out early.
Great choice of bars and restaurants as you would expect in a major city.
Nothing specifically put on for interns, but plenty of stuff to do.
