  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed the placement. The department had experience of summer interns and had a good schedule of work for us making us feel part of the team.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was placed straight into audit teams, and was performing work that a graduate or other junior member would otherwise complete. Also got plenty of client facing experience.

  • had regular meetings with guidance counselor. Members of staff were extremely helpful in answering questions.

  • Constantly had work to do. Although definitely did not feel over worked.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Placed in audit teams so an high level of responsibility for an intern. As the program progressed so did the level of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Didn't help me so much with degree study, but the internship got me a job offer, so very useful.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • very friendly individuals, and the work teams were rotated so everyone works with everyone. Overall very good atmosphere.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well run program, no problems what so ever. Dedicated graduate recruitment staff to help at all times.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I felt they invested a lot. We were given general training, as well as training specific to our various departments.

  • Sports and Social Club

  • Personally I got offered a job, overall I believe the percentage offered jobs is very high.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Good social scene both with other interns, colleagues in the department and outside. Even managed to get a few games of cricket with the office team

  • Reading prices.

  • I was offered plenty of chances to get involved in things such as sports, quizzes and drinks.
