The Role
Really enjoyed the placement. The department had experience of summer interns and had a good schedule of work for us making us feel part of the team.
I was placed straight into audit teams, and was performing work that a graduate or other junior member would otherwise complete. Also got plenty of client facing experience.
had regular meetings with guidance counselor. Members of staff were extremely helpful in answering questions.
Constantly had work to do. Although definitely did not feel over worked.
Placed in audit teams so an high level of responsibility for an intern. As the program progressed so did the level of responsibility.
Didn't help me so much with degree study, but the internship got me a job offer, so very useful.
The Company
very friendly individuals, and the work teams were rotated so everyone works with everyone. Overall very good atmosphere.
Very well run program, no problems what so ever. Dedicated graduate recruitment staff to help at all times.
I felt they invested a lot. We were given general training, as well as training specific to our various departments.
Sports and Social Club
Personally I got offered a job, overall I believe the percentage offered jobs is very high.
The Culture
Good social scene both with other interns, colleagues in the department and outside. Even managed to get a few games of cricket with the office team
Reading prices.
Average
I was offered plenty of chances to get involved in things such as sports, quizzes and drinks.
