The Role
Interesting work and helpful colleagues!
Answered any questions I had and easy to talk to.
Enough to help me but not enough to hinder me.
Comes and goes. Some days were full, others less so.
Put in charge of a project area and handled the important decisions.
Reinforced everything I had already learnt and taught me new skills.
The Company
Relaxed, calm.
Everything went smoothly and was thought of beforehand.
I was allowed to learn what I wanted but no structured training as such.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Can apply for another placement later on, or a graduate job!
The Culture
Took part in several clubs and socialised with other placement students / grad students a lot.
Average. Lived in my university house.
Same as university, but less people.
Lots of clubs and help
