The Role
I loved the variety of my job, the responsiblities I was given and the way I was allowed to completely make the job my own and do things the way I wanted. Obviously there were days that I didn;t enjoy it as much but overall it has been brilliant.
I really felt that ,ost of the time my colleagues listened to me and valued my input. However I think that in any placement job there are going to be times when the placement student isn't always included due to their lack of experience
The team I have worked with have been very supportive, I haven;t always taken full advantage of this support but any time I have needed help they are always willing to lend a hand
I have been rushed off my feet the majority of the year. Sometimes I feel like the job has taken over my life, but I would mucj prefer this than to be doing nothing all of the time.
I was left to do my job how I wished, but there was always help when I needed it. Towards the end along with the other placement student, we planned and pulled off the bifggest marketing event of the year for all of our key contacts
I have become more confident, considerate and willing to give and take. Not only have I learnt job skills, but life skills
The Company
Often the office was pretty quiet but there was always someone around ready to have a laugh and joke
I work in a very busy department, so it wasn't totally that organised, but I think the best way of learning is being thrown in at the deep end - which I certainly was!!
I participated in external training courses to aid my development
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen

Subsidised/Company Gym

Working from home
I would love to return to 3M as a graduate, I have learnt so much and you are treated really well
The Culture
I have reaaly enjoyed the company of the other placement students, if anything I wish I had spent more time with some of them, will definitely be staying in touch
Not too bad, also I am good at managing my money
Not great in the immediate vicinity but a bit further out there were plenty of places to go
Plenty
