Definitely found a lot of encouragement from the start. Value increased as I became more useful to the team.
Emphasis is placed on taking the initiative yourself. But if ever I needed guidance, I could find it from the whole team.
Generally had a fair bit of work to do. Workload would peak at different times depending on the business.
Quite a lot of responsibility straight from the start. Reports read by the most senior of management.
Very important skills developed, especially analytical and communication skills.
The Company
The team is hard at work most of the time, but the relaxed culture does shine through, especially with the Olympics on and loads of deate.
The organisation of the internship was very good, giving us a wide exposure to the firm.
The team was very enthusiastic to invest time and resources in me, with bespoke training given throughout.
