  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Found it a great experience, working with highly intelligent people.

  • Definitely found a lot of encouragement from the start. Value increased as I became more useful to the team.

  • Emphasis is placed on taking the initiative yourself. But if ever I needed guidance, I could find it from the whole team.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Generally had a fair bit of work to do. Workload would peak at different times depending on the business.

  • Quite a lot of responsibility straight from the start. Reports read by the most senior of management.

  • Very important skills developed, especially analytical and communication skills.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The team is hard at work most of the time, but the relaxed culture does shine through, especially with the Olympics on and loads of deate.

  • The organisation of the internship was very good, giving us a wide exposure to the firm.

  • The team was very enthusiastic to invest time and resources in me, with bespoke training given throughout.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very good social scene across the floor, with drinks on Fridays!

  • Centre of London, so expensive as expected.
