The Role
Great experience overall
So great at making me feel at home and involved
Just enough to keep me from panicking, not enough to spoon feed..
Busy most of the time
Lots to do from the outset
Transferable skills excellent
The Company
Great in my team, ok elsewhere
Pretty good, though not many specific internship events
Week of training, then ongoing learning
Subsidised Canteen
Company Car
Good company to work for overall - nice people, good better work/life balance than most banks. Questionable opportunities to work elsewhere?
The Culture
Nothing really organised externally - any socialising was pretty much self-organised, though some good drinks outings with the team
Expensive, but to be expected - it's London..
Ok, though didn't get much opportunity to check it out! I seem to remember lots of time spent wandering around in search of somewhere decent.
Not provided by RBC at least, but again, not much time for that anyway.
