The Role
I really enjoyed my time at the Leadership Academy, the people were all very open and friendly, and we had a great time getting to know each other and working together.
I had the feeling that each individual was valued a lot by other team members, everyone tried to incorporate ideas from other colleagues and everyone was very keen on getting to know other people's opinions.
We were given great support by our facilitators, who provided us with extensive feedback and suggestions on how we can improve in the future. I felt that I could always go to them and ask any question.
Although we were busy most of the time, I did not feel very stressed but I actually enjoyed the business. On the evenings we had fun events during which we could relax.
I felt that the purpose of the Academy was for us to take responsibility about our own actions and about our team. Thus I felt that we were given the maximum amount of responsibility possible.
To a very large extent. i have learned so much about myself, what kind of leadership style I have and how I can apply this knowledge when working in teams.
The Company
The atmosphere was always friendly, we had a lot of fun together (even with our facilitators) all day.
It was very well organized. We never had moments in which we did not exactly know what to do, the time management was perfect. The academy was very well structured.
To a very large extent. E&Y provided us with a personal facilitator who you could ask for questions any time, they provided us with extensive tests so that we get to know ourselves better.
Even though I was not successful in securing an internship for next year, I truly hope that once I can reapply, will be able to get a graduate position with the company.
The Culture
Definitely. We had many people with different cultural backgrounds but everyone was well mannered and honest.
The company paid for all my expenses.
I did not have time to explore the nightlife scene, but we had numerous evening events which made all of our nights very enjoyable
During the academy we had not much free time.
