The Role
I really enjoyed every aspect of it.
The team was very friendly and I was offered a lot of support. They treated me as one of their own full-time workers.
Great support from manager!
I was given challenging tasks to undertake and always had something to do.
I was made an owner of a couple of tasks responsible for their deliverables at the end of the placement.
I developed a lot of project management skills over the placement, which I plan to use in my final year of college.
The Company
The usual work environment, but the team were all very social and friendly.
Organised very well, had a lot of support from the recruiters throughout the placement.
I received a one days course on gas turbine technology.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I got a good insight of what career path I could take and RR offer very good programmes for graduates.
The Culture
Yes, we continuously stayed in touch and organised social nights out.
The average.
Derby is not a very popular place for great nightlife
I volunteered at a RR Family Day which I really enjoyed.
