The Role
Gave me a great insight into how a Law firm is structured and run.
They allowed me to attend meetings and clients with them.
Always had someone to help me if I needed support.
Enough work that was at a standard so you could do if and be interested by what it had you do.
I was given work that I would be able to do, not high rated work but acceptable and knowledgeable.
It will give me a huge advantage on my CV's as it means I have already had experience in a real law firm.
The Company
Had great fun with the conversations I had with my mentor who also helped me whenever I needed help.
Always had work to do if I had finished my previous work and I new the plan's of how the day would be structured.
They gave me work that would expand my knowledge on employment law which I knew little about but after the placement, I had gain vast knowledge about it.
Possibly the placement may help me gain a training contract with them in the future.
The Culture
All the fellow students I were with loved the experience from the placement and also meant I got to meet new people.
Very good, only had to pay for a bus journey and the food is relatively cheap if you are buying lunch.
Their are a variety of big clubs scattered around the city centre of Leeds which is where Walker Morris is, so the nightlife is great if you want a good night out.
Not for me personally as I only had a few days placement there.
