The Role
This is one of the best placements going, it’s very dependent on you! If you want to sit surfing Google all day then fine... But if you’re after opportunities with Europe’s largest pharmaceutical company then this is the puppy for you!
Valued in my job, you can say that again. If you do the work you will be treated well… I mean nights out, meals, theme parks and even awards (in cash). So you GSK look after their staff!
Not only did I have 2 different people who were checking up on my progress but I also gained 2 qualifications in my year at the place!
Not going to lie to you but twice in the year I would have preferred to be sitting an exam on a subject I have never learnt, naked while sitting on drawing pins. BUT there was always help their and the rest of the year was sweeeeet!
Responsibility started low after 4 months I was working with the daddies! In my time at GSK I worked on 2 projects saving the company over 3M a year and one saving them 6M a year (and before you ask I didn’t get any of the saving!)
As I said above I have 2 qualifications (ITIL and 6 Sigma) I also have now got a place on their grad program, so for my last year I can sit back and doodle on my exams!
The Company
Its all open plan here so you cant talk too loud, but the breaks are messy! (by that I mean sports, games and free Lucozade)
Then even helped me get a house!!!
This is a random question so I just went and added up all the cost for the courses I have done here… Grand total £4771.05 cant really complain!

Im on the Grad program (good money too) and most of the people that didn’t make it have been offered a job before and after Uni.
The Culture
Well I lived with 6 other students so yes, my advice would be go in to a house with other placements at GSK, they take about 75 every year anyway!
LONDON! Enough said!
LONDON! Enough said!
Shed loads! Evenings… days… weekends and weeks. 3 of the students here went to spain twice (all paid for).
