  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was an extremely interesting internship, I really enjoyed working on my projects, with my team and in this environment

  • I always felt valued by the team

  • In line with their busy schedule, I never felt left alone and I knew they were there to support me all the time

  • It was well balanced, considering that everything was completely at the beginning

  • I should be able to answer this later on in the years, but my inmpression is that I've developed some extremely valued and useful skills

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was professional and serious, but nice and welcoming at the same time,. Very pleasant

  • The whole internship was very well organized from all points of view: HR, team and company as a whole

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I wish I could have had more trainings on several things: specific and technical topics (such as different asset classes and securities), on the different areas of the company, on the challenges Asset management firms are going through these days, on how to use BlackRock's main tools, on the company's culture in general. I think trainings are extremely useful for all new entries.

  • Working here would be extremely appealing!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The interns group was very close and we used to meet on a regular basis outside work. During the day we would also rely on eachother initial expertise on different fields.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The cost of living in the area I worked in was a problem, as it is an extremely expensive area. However, socialising was fine, even though still expensive

  • There a few clubs in the area, but lots of restaurants and places for drinks

  • Yes, several ones. For examples sports events, social games, charity events, conferences, dinners, drinks
