The Role
It was an extremely interesting internship, I really enjoyed working on my projects, with my team and in this environment
I always felt valued by the team
In line with their busy schedule, I never felt left alone and I knew they were there to support me all the time
It was well balanced, considering that everything was completely at the beginning
I should be able to answer this later on in the years, but my inmpression is that I've developed some extremely valued and useful skills
The Company
It was professional and serious, but nice and welcoming at the same time,. Very pleasant
The whole internship was very well organized from all points of view: HR, team and company as a whole
I wish I could have had more trainings on several things: specific and technical topics (such as different asset classes and securities), on the different areas of the company, on the challenges Asset management firms are going through these days, on how to use BlackRock's main tools, on the company's culture in general. I think trainings are extremely useful for all new entries.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working here would be extremely appealing!
The Culture
The interns group was very close and we used to meet on a regular basis outside work. During the day we would also rely on eachother initial expertise on different fields.
The cost of living in the area I worked in was a problem, as it is an extremely expensive area. However, socialising was fine, even though still expensive
There a few clubs in the area, but lots of restaurants and places for drinks
Yes, several ones. For examples sports events, social games, charity events, conferences, dinners, drinks
